Vintage IBM Model F Keyboard Clicky Original Cover Needs for sale in Albany, NY
Vintage IBM Model F Keyboard Original buckling spring "clicky" key, 83 key, XT, with original hard protective key cover.I got this in with my 5150 a while back from a library basement, and I have tinkering for some time with the main unit (parity check issues). This keyboard, while feeling alright (keys have excellent spring/travel, nothing sticky or broken) doesn't register most of the keys while in use, which is troublesome when trying to operate and execute commands on the 5150. Since I have another, I'm selling this as-is for parts or repair. You will likely need to open her up and do some surgery to get this working again.Cosmetically, this is the cleanest model F I have ever come across, a solid 9/10. Since the cover was over the keys for the majority if it's life, there's little to no wear on the actual keyboard. The feet work perfectly. The hard cover itself has some light scratches, but it was designed to do the protecting, so this isn't surprising.Nice vintage piece. $20 flat shipping via UPS to anywhere in the U.S.
