Information Technology Specialist 2 (Programming)

The candidate will assist with on-going development efforts for the Claims Strategic projects. The candidate will assist with one or more of the current, on-going initiatives:
- Integration of Comppay System into Claim Center The candidate should be familiar with NYSIF's standard application development tools of C#.NET, ASP.NET, PL/SQL, Oracle Packages, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript , JQuery, Bootstrap, and AJAX. Any knowledge of Adobe Livecycle Designer, requirements gathering, Agile methodology, and/or MVC would also be beneficial. The importance of back filling this item immediately is critical to effectively/efficiently delivering Claims strategic projects including some highly visible and business-critical systems.

Salary Range:
From $56604 to $71980 Annually
Minimum Qualification
YOU MUST BE A CURRENT STATE EMPLOYEE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR APPOINTMENT TO THIS POSITION. Eligible for 52.6 transfer by having one year of permanent, competitive service in an appropriate title; or eligible for a lateral transfer.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
