Addictions Planning Analyst 1

The Addictions Planning Analyst 1 (APA 1) will report to the Bureau Director. Duties include but are not limited to:
oWork with local government units, regional office staff, state partners and managed care organizations. oIdentify regional service gaps, develop guidance and program assessment methods to ensure services are integrated as well as person and family centered. oReview proposals and aid local governmental planning services and OASAS Providers in the pursuit of funding and application to new initiative participation. oAssist Addictions Program Specialist 2s, Addictions Program Analyst 2s, and/or senior staff with coordination and oversight of initiatives and policy development as they relate to integrated services, managed care and value-based outcomes. oThrough on-going communication, conference calls, on site visits, and workgroups, be responsible for representing OASAS views related to program design and policy analysis. oEnsure the OASAS perspective is represented and Substance Use Disorders services are appropriately incorporated within new service delivery models and cross-agency initiatives. oCollaborate with all involved parties to ensure innovative and newly implemented models are sustainable and services are designed to meet specific regional needs.

Salary Range:
From $56604 to $71980 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Permanent status as an Addictions Planning Analyst 1, SG-18 and interested in reassignment; OR reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Addictions Planning Analyst 1; OR eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law (i.e., Addictions Program Specialist 1). Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in any field AND two years' experience in addictions or health services planning in the areas of policy analysis and design; comparative analysis; federal, state, and/or local planning; needs assessment; and methodology. Substitution:
A master's degree in human services, public health, public administration, social work, or sociology may be substituted for one year of experience. Non-Qualifying
Experience:
Examples of non-qualifying experience include but are not limited to policy implementation, administration of program services, program development, utilization review, or discharge planning.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
