Direct Markets Regional Sales Manager
Zurich is currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our Direct Markets Team. This is a home based position with travel required. You must reside in the assigned territory. Best location for this position is in/near Albany NY.
Specifically, you will assist and direct a team of Account Executives in the sale and distribution of certain market basket segments and all Strategic Business Unit products and services to achieve and sustain profitable growth.
Influencer Externally Focused - The job's core deliverables rely on influencing or negotiating with external contacts. Relationships typically involve successful collaboration on routine matters and/or with peer level clients and/or customers.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Sales area
OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Sales area
AND
Experience with the principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology
Experience working within a regulatory environment
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience analyzing financial statements and reports
Licensed to sell insurance products
Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
Preferred
Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles/techniques guidelines
Advanced knowledge of coverage and pricing of business offerings
Internet research experience
Management skills including planning, budgeting, coaching, interviewing/selection and performance management
Ability to multi-task
Experience working in a team environment
