Business Analyst & Project Coordinator

Job Purpose:
Solve business, operational, and data stream challenges by analyzing end user requirements, developing study and conclusion documentation, recommending enhanced controls, system efficiencies and procedural modifications to resolve these challenges. Prepare and monitor IT Projects utilizing standard SPLC methodologies. Track the documentation inventory for Information Technology & Operations Policies and Procedures. IT Budget planning and monitoring.

IT Business Analyst & Project Management
Communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze data needs and functional requirements and deliver the required documents as needed: Project Plans, Business Requirements and Functional Specifications.
Track, monitor and evaluate network security appliance reports and tools safeguarding our network from potential penetrations and vulnerabilities.
Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities and construct enhancement proposals.
Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
Work with business units on their requirements and of how they will successfully add value.
Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into system and operational requirements.
Collaborate with the technical staff to establish the technical requirements and analyze tradeoffs.
Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
Adherence to all pertinent laws and regulations governing AML/CTF including the BSA/USAPA as well as all bank policy and procedures governing same.
Successful and timely completion of all assigned BSA/AML/OFAC training.
Tasks and projects as required and specified by your Manager or the General Manager.

Additional Responsibilities: MIS
Track and validate for accuracy against STORQM+ reports the daily Limit Overage Approval (LOA) report for NY and Head Office distribution.
Track and warehouse the daily FX Position report.
Open and maintain client and internal accounts on Equation and eGifts.
Perform the Blocking and Un-Blocking of requested accounts on Equation and eGifts advising the appropriate parties of actions taken.
Maintain Limits Borrowed/Lent in Equation (Limit Control) which includes monitoring limit expiry, future limits and current limit status and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:
College degree required
2 years IT related Business Analysis/Project Management experience
MS Office suite proficiency

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
