The Senior QA analyst role is to develop and establish quality assurance standard and measure for entire application product stack. This individual will also gather and analyze current practices in SDLC and propose projects, remedies and system requirements. This will include writing QA road map per product, writing and executing test cases, investigating production issues, setup a QA environment where others can reproduce bugs and issues.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
? Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
? Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas and projects across the organization.
Operational
? Interact with Developers, Production support and Trade Support regarding releases and QA status.
? Analyze document and technical spec of new application/projects and help with test plans.
? Conduct internal audits to measure & assure adherence to establish QA standards.
? Create and execute test plans and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications.
? Verify and revise QA standards continuously and proactively as needed.

Requirements &
Qualifications:
? 5
years' experience as a lead tester/QA for Equities and/or FX algo trading platform
? Experience in standards Equities strategies QA - like VWAP, POV, IS etc.
? Junior level programing capability at Java, Ruby.
? Proficient in Linux at mid Sys-Ad level
? Able to troubleshoot independentlyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
