Financial Analyst CGI is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Northeast Finance team. Qualified candidates will need to possess analytical and problem solving skills, good oral and written communication skills, and an understanding of operational/financial accounting. Candidates must be able to work independently as a dedicated individual to the Controller's team and be able to demonstrate flexibility while delivering clear results. Candidates in this role will be expected to work closely with other analysts, sector project managers, and other internal partners while also completing their own work. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
