POSITION TITLE: Manager, Materials Planning and Systems
LOCATION: Albany, NY
As the name suggests, Total Facility Solutions provide solutions that are designed to deliver process-critical infrastructure for semiconductor, life science, renewable energy and science & research installations. Their turnkey facilities contracting solutions feature high purity piping, electrical services, clean utilities, process equipment installation as well as gas, chemical and ultra-pure water systems installations among others.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
TFS is transforming their entire materials and supply chain organization and process to better support their goal of being the preferred, single-source provider of process-critical infrastructure for customers in the semiconductor, life science, renewable energy and science & research industries. The Director of Supply Chain Management is seeking a proven leader who can develop and execute a material planning strategy that can be executed across all service platforms. This individual must have 10yrs of progressive leadership experience in material planning and program management and must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, process equipment or piping industries.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager of Material Planning will provide leadership and direction to plan, organize and control the material requirements planning in order to support the strategic acquisition of materials and services at TFS. The individual will be a member on cross-functional teams responsible for material requirements across project sites. This highly visible role will interact heavily with senior executives at TFS to improve planning requirements, on-time delivery, and lead-time.
Specific Responsibilities: Materials Planning
Assist Project teams with Procurement plans for Long Lead, Blanket purchases, VMI and large equipment
Assist Warehouse team with space planning for VMI, large equipment staging, etc.
Assist Fabrication Shop with ISO tracking and shop scheduling
Assist Procurement team with expediting late deliveries from Suppliers
Define materials planning processes, procedures and implement systems changes as required
Be prepared, as required, to train addition materials planners on other, non-GF.e projects/jobsites
Take a leadership role, with project teams, in establishing pull-planning(LPS) processes/systems
Specific Responsibilities: Field Execution Systems Admin
Prepare information and request new users to be set up in Plex
Request user permissions to be changed or users to be deleted from Plex access
iPad control & maintenance and support
Research and request new Part Numbers be added to Plex
Update existing Parts as needed - correct descriptions, pictures, etc.
Add, Change, Delete locations, delivery locations, etc. as needed
Submit requests for changes to Plex configuration, glosserization, drop down lists, etc
Set up new Plex Users on PC's or iPads per PC Set up SOP
Provide support for label printers, scanners, etc. as needed
Train new users on Plex functions per SOP's and Training materials
Submit Problem Reports and manage to resolution
Liaison with Local IT for support on all network, security and device issues
Support for report and data requests as needed
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
BA / BS in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field of discipline or equivalent experience.
10 years of program managemen/materials planning experience with minimum of 5yrs in construction and/or process-equipment industries.
Proven capability to lead a cross-functional team with product, manufacturing, quality and engineering as well as procurement.
Excellent program management, strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willing to travel to suppliers facilities or other TFS locations 50% of the time.
ISM or APICS certification preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
