Security Master Developer needed to join the Fixed Income Applications Development team. Developer is responsible for supporting existing Security Master and Market data platforms while developing the next generation of the Security Master. The next generation will be the single source for all security data within the Fixed Income group. It will be the single source of reference data, feeding information, for all trading models, accounting, and intraday P&L systems. Attention to detail and quality is of paramount importance. The development team is also responsible for supporting the application in production, so exposure to different monitoring, log analysis, and data collection tools is a plus.
Required Skills/Experience
Fixed Income Product Knowledge
Service Oriented, Event Driven Deployments
Strong Java /C+
skills, with some development experience in C#
Strong Relational Database experience with large data sets.
Strong Communication Skills
Experience integrating code you?ve developed with other systems.
Preferred Experience
Tibco Rendezvous or JMS
Sql Server Experience
Market Data Vendor API Experience (Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit)
Multithreading, distributed system development
Subversion/Hudson/MavenEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
