The team is responsible for a suite of applications including performance calculation engines, client and ad hoc reporting systems, reconciliation and data publication tools. We are looking for a candidate to build out IBOR ABOR comparison reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
80% development of strategic systems around the reconciliation, accounting and reporting areas and 20% providing 2nd line of support for technical and/or operational issues encountered
Understand and refine business and functional requirements
Provide ongoing development maintenance of existing application functionality, working closely with the client support teams to address issues that are escalated for resolution
Work with team members in multi-office, multi-country environment
Continuous communication of technology decisions, issues and plans to senior team members
Deliver high level of client service through responsiveness and accuracy

Specific activities:
80% Development
Developing and maintaining existing reconciliation, Accounting and Reporting systems, tools and processes, including participation in tactical and strategic development projects
Working alongside project managers, technical leads and business analysts throughout the SDLC cycle
Code new business functionality in the system, specifically in the Reconciliation and Reporting tools, to meet business and customer requirements, working closely with end-users, client operations staff, and other development teams
20% Production support
Providing 2nd line of support for technical and/or operational issues encountered
Help the team conduct end-to-end UAT tests to ensure production operations run successfully during monthly cycles
Provide ideas for process enhancements that will result in development projects

Skills and
Qualifications:
4-6 years hands-on strong programming experience in JAVA, Hibernate, Spring MVC, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, CSS, development
4-6 years database experience (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling). Sybase experience preferred.
4-6 years? experience with Open Source tools (Apache, JBoss, Tomcat, Hibernate, Ant, Ivy, Struts, Spring, JUnit, JBPM, etc.)
4-6 years UNIX experience (ksh, bash, shell scripts)
1-2 years Perl design and development experience - perl data structures and references, Object-Oriented Perl, modules, and packages
Solid experience with development of interactive web applications (HTML, JavaScript), knowledge of Embperl is a plus
Financial knowledge and interest strongly recommended
Experience working with global project teams spread across several time zones a must
Strong teamwork, communication skills and time management abilities a must
4-year degree, CS degree or equivalent experience
Superior academic record and leadership qualitiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
