We are currently seeking a Java developer responsible for development and support an interactive risk analysis tool that provides traders, portfolio managers and risk managers access to a full suite of analytic models and data necessary for making investment decisions and it's supporting infrastructure. This team member will develop high quality technology solutions; create strong partnerships with end-users and other team members; implement project deliverables that meet businesses requirements, audit/control requirements and are aligned with business and technology strategies.
? All phases of software development for the product and supporting server infrastructure.
? Working with senior team members and internal clients to specify and design new product functionality.
? Interfacing with other groups in the firm to solve client problems.
? Continuous communication of technology decisions, issues and plans to senior team members and clients
? Providing ongoing development maintenance of existing application functionality, working closely with the client support teams to address issues that are escalated for resolution.
? 2-5 years of industry experience.
? Strong programming skills in Java
? Knowledge of SQL
? Experience with Unix (Solaris and Linux) and Windows
? Strong object oriented programming design skills, knowledge design patterns/frameworks, etc.
? Degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar technical field
? Excellent analytical and problem solving skills coupled with a strong attention to detail
? Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing, team-based environment
? Experience with the Java Swing a very strong plus
? Experience in the financial services industry a strong plus.
? Experience with JavaScript a strong plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
