Roadshow Coordinator/ Marketing Assistant

Roadshow Coordinator needed for client within Financial Services industry. Ideal candidate must have administrative support experience as well as exposure to marketing within financial services. Personal requirements are someone with great organizational skills, highly motivated, and energetic. Role will be supporting a small group of individuals. Must have at least 3-5 years relevant experience.

Manage complete Roadshow process including:
Soliciting requests from banking and trading business linesfor Management Teams and Analysts who should visit clients and allocating resources appropriately among sales teams to provide higher level of client service
Initiate contact with management teams to secure dates for proposed Roadshows, communicate all relevant details to appropriate personnel
Create and maintain Roadshow schedule; serve as primary point of contact between company management and client
Coordinate all travel logistics including ground and air transportation; secure hotel recommendations through Travel agentto management teams upon request
Set up both internal and external meeting sites including catering services, food & beverage, AV services, etc.
Gather, organize and relay post-Roadshow feedback to personnel and company management
Analyze and track Roadshow participation
Serve as primary point of contact between client and relevant service provides such as transportation companies and caterers; oversee contracts and levels of service
Department Support - Work on and at client hosted conferences
Provide back up telephone coverage for on trading desk
BA or BS degree required
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel Skills
Strong interpersonal communications skills; ability to handle heavy telephone call volume; ability to communicate with senior levels of management and represent Client in consistently professional manner, with all departments
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to Team and Department
Strong organizational skills; ability to handle many tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail, proactive, efficient
Ability to understand, synthesize and communicate urgent information to the appropriate individual, professionally at all times
Acts as the main point of contact and source of reliable information for all Roadshow activities
Understands the names and category of outside callers and can effectively screen priority calls and urgent information

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
