The position is for an experienced full stack software developer, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance systems.
Experience with trading or order management applications is required.
The candidate should also have significant experience with equities, swaps, and relevant accounting, and risk calculations.
Familiarity with handling market data is desired.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills, as he or she would be in a client-facing role.
The ideal candidate would demonstrate a passion for software development and quality assurance, and be familiar with the recent trends in technology.
We're looking for a person who works well on a team, but is capable of independently accomplishing tasks of significant scope and complexity.
Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work quickly and effectively under time pressure are expected.
The role is for a prime services group within a mid-size investment bank.
You would be joining a small team with ambitious objectives and tight deadlines, but a friendly working environment.
The development will be primarily focused on order management and real-time profit and loss systems, and supporting back-end services.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
