ROLE SUMMARYThe Global Medical Excellence and Innovation Project Manager (GMEI PM) role is an integral member of the Global Medical Excellence and Innovation team, and Medical Project, Program and Medical Systems teams.
The GMEI PM is instrumental in the development and implementation of key assigned GMEI initiatives that have an impact on Global Medical Affairs stakeholders and markets.
The GMEI PM combines organizational capabilities and project management excellence, while understanding Global Medical Excellence and Innovation strategic priorities, with the goal of seamless execution of the plans.
The GMEI PM is a part of a working environment where colleagues understand and exhibit customer-focused medical professionalism with honor and integrity.
The role reports to the Process Excellence Lead within Medical Project, Program and Medical Systems.
The GMEI PM will partner and collaborate with all colleagues from across Global Medical Affairs including those withing Global Medical Excellence and Innovation, the CMAO LT Office and Category & Regional Medical Affairs.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESPartners with the CMAO Director of Business Operations to provide project status, deliverables and risks for Global Medical Affairs workstreams to allow for a holistic picture of key initiatives.
Provides project management capabilities for the Cross Category and Regional Medical Excellence Forum to implement best practices and maximize efficiency for this critical alignment opportunityDevelops and leads tracking of performance / activity measurements (metrics) as appropriateLeads the project management functional aspect for implementations of critical Global Project, Program and Medical Systems initiatives to drive successful execution.
Drive the creation/implementation of simple medical processes, working with key stakeholders, to support strategy and execution of Medical Affairs data generation/communication activitiesSupport assigned GMEI activities/initiatives including development and monitoring of project and program plans and tracking of milestonesRoutinely identifies, raises/shares, and implements best practices; ensuring consistency in overarching processes and systems, where needed; and developing partnerships with key colleagues in other functional areas to ensure ongoing alignment and efficiency.
Drives implementation of appropriate SOP's, business processes, etc.
Collaborate and align with key internal stakeholders and other Medical Excellence / Operations colleagues for consistency and alignment as appropriateBASIC QUALIFICATIONSCandidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including:
the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
BA/BS degree required; MBA/MS preferred7-10 years of relevant professional experience; Project Management, finance, or management information systems experience a plus Demonstrated ability to facilitate open discussion among key stakeholders and build internal and external relationships through influencing, partnering, anticipating needs, fulfilling expectationsAbility to create & manage complex projects, including budget management & fiscal awarenessDemonstrated ability to analyze, compile and report insights and impact dataDemonstrated expertise in Business software including Excel and PowerPoint.

In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 17.
5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
