We seek an organized and skilled Administrative Assistant to support the Director of Homer Perkins Center.
The ideal candidate will excel in administrative tasks, have excellent communication skills, and maintain confidentiality.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility and supporting the Director in their responsibilities.
What You Will Be Doing as the Administrative Assistant? The Administrative Assistant (AA) position resides within the Alternatives to Incarceration Division.
The AA works closely with the members of Homer Perkins and administration.
The mission of the AA is to effect processes that produce functional integration and efficiency within the department, while also being involved in the direct performance of specific administrative functions.
? Facilitate communication between the Director, staff, residents, and external stakeholders.
? Coordinate meetings, manage schedules, and assist in preparing necessary documentation.
? Conduct various administrative tasks, including answering phone, greeting visitors, typing, photocopying, and filing.
? Handle referrals for intakes and potential admissions.
? Record all client appointments.
? Perform data entry for EHR and OASAS systems.
? Perform data entry for relevant forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
? Maintain and ensure quality assurance for files and the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
? Contribute to long-term planning for operational excellence.
? Maintain organization in filing, and office space.
? Participates in designated agency committees.
? Fulfill other assigned duties as needed.
What are your skills and experience? ? Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
? Proficient in Microsoft 365 and other relevant software.
? Minimum of three years of satisfactory experience in administrative positions.
? Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and solve problems.
? Confidence in administrative work, office management, and analytical skills.
? Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
? Valid New York State driver's license.
Salary - $24.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
