Duties Description The Office Assistant 2 assigned to Field Command - BCI will be responsible for assisting the Trooper Applicant Unit and the Asset Forfeiture Unit.
Duties will include:
Entering and updating applicant background information into BCI databases.
Reviewing applicant packets and ensuring all information is completed for BCI administrative review.
Reaches out to Troops to obtain missing information if necessary.
Maintaining databases for railroad police, tribal police and other applicants.
Ensuring certificates are filed with the Department of State and Department of Criminal Justice Services.
Entering required information into the Asset Forfeiture Database.
Conducting Department of Motor Vehicle checks on defendants.
Generating return of property letters and maintaining file system of responses.
Assisting the Senior Investigator with maintaining open cases of pending Asset Forfeiture investigations.
Preparing correspondence to various agencies and scanning correspondence to appropriate Asset Forfeiture Unit folders.
Assisting the Senior Investigator with monthly bank reconciliation of the Seized Asset account and Asset Forfeiture Unit database.
Assisting the Senior Investigator with monthly case identification of Department of Justice and Treasury payments.
