Human Resources Specialist 1

o Assists with activities in support of maintaining the classification plan for the Division. This may include, but is not limited to:
preparing justification letters, duties descriptions, organization charts and other supporting documentation for review by Civil Service. o Provides advice and assistance to sworn and non-sworn supervisors and managers to develop and implement recruitment strategies for non-sworn staff. Participates in recruitment efforts for sworn staff if needed. o Assists with tasks pertaining to the appointment, assignment, and training of staff. o Using recruitment tracking systems, reports out on status of ongoing recruitment activities for assigned program areas. o Works with hiring managers to develop job postings, ensuring appropriate duties and minimum qualifications are being utilized. o Oversees or personally handles resume and credential review for non-sworn candidates. o Participates in exam planning activities as needed. o Works with sworn and non-sworn supervisors, managers and other executive level staff to gather information to analyze and draft responses to out-of-title work grievances. o Assists other HR units or works on special projects and staffing activities as needed.

Salary Range:
From $61423 to $76218 Annually
Minimum Qualification
o Bachelors Degree and completion of a two-year traineeship OR o Bachelors Degree and 2 years of Human Resources related experience OR o Associates Degree and 4 years of Human Resources related experience OR o 6 years of Human Resources related experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
