Sodexo has a great opportunity for you as a General Manager 5 for University at Albany, SUNY located in Albany, NY.
At this Sodexo account, the General Manager will oversee the Food Service operations for The State Quad at University at Albany, SUNY.
State Quads feeds approximately 1,900 students breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night service.
The State Quad is open 7 days a week, and has over 9 dining platforms.
The General Manager will report to the District Manager and will manage 3 Managers and 60
union employees.
As the General Manager, you will have total unit operating responsibilities including day to day interactions with clients.
The successful candidate will:
Deliver exceptional customer service Meet and exceed Sodexo standards of operations Grow and develop onsite operations team Work to achieve continual satisfaction of students and clients Achieve financial targets and goals Ensure HACCP compliance have oversight of day-to-day operations; deliver high quality food service; achieve company and client financial targets and goals; develop and maintain client and customer relationships; develop strategic plans; create a positive environment; and/or ensure Sodexo standards are met.

have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively; have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
