Locum to Perm- Nurse Practitioner- General Surgery
Job DescriptionPremier Physician Services, LLC has a locum opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to provide full-time care in the General Surgery Unit at a hospital located in Syracuse, NY.
This is a locum assignment that can possibly go perm with the right provider.
Schedule:
Monday and Wednesday:
1:
00pm-9:
30p (8 hours, 30 minutes dinner break) Off Thursday Friday 7:
00pm-7:
30am (12 hours) Saturday 7:
00pm-7:
30am (12 hours) Off Sunday The hospital does 3-7 surgical cases per day.
There are 14 operating rooms and 8 General Surgeons in practice.
NP/PA must have a strong laparoscopic and open background as well as robotics.
NP/PA must have a minimum of 3 years of General Surgery experience and strong surgical inpatient & robotics experience.
Must be certified in Da Vinci Robotics Si and Xi.
Must possess the BLS and ACLS certifications and a New York state license.
Required Duties are:
Pre-Op Physical Exams, Suture Removal, Diagnose Illnesses, Treat Illnesses, Order Tests, Interpret Tests, Assist in Surgery, Write Prescriptions, and Coordination of Care.
