Duties Description Ensuring managed care plans submit provider contracts that comply with state and federal requirements, including methodologies for confirming member attribution, target budgets, performance payments, and shared savings and/or losses.
In addition, ensure contracts comply with the State Statute, Regulations and published contracting guidelines as such relate to the financial stability and solvency of the Managed Care Organization.
Reviewing MCO quality improvement contracts for safety net hospitals in relation to existing and new initiatives.
Evaluating the timeliness and accuracy of MCO financial reports submitted by the MCOs to include monitoring the financial condition, analysis of fiscal operations and compliance with fiscal reporting requirements, reserve and escrow fund requirements and related laws, regulations and policies and other duties as assigned.
