Assess, instruct & prepare patients prior to surgeryEnsure that operative and informed consents are signed and correctTake and record vital statistics of patients to ensure readiness for surgicalprocedureInitiate IVs and ensure patients are informed about procedureAssess patients post-operative conditionMonitor vital signs and other measurements of progress, meeting dischargecriteriaLog all findings in patient filesAnswer patient questions and ensure patient comfortMonitor patients for condition changes, reporting any changes to physicianPerform intervention duties during post-operative emergenciesSupplemental Health Care has won Best of Staffing awards 6-years in a row.

Active NY RN licenseAHA BLSMinimum 12 months of RN experience in a relative setting within the last 18 months Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Measurement And Metrology Patient Assessment Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
