Act as Expert Software Developer for the NYS Department of Transportation to fulfill the duties as described below.
Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Develop custom SharePoint applications Assist with the migration of SharePoint application to the O365 Platform Perform system testing and development of testing plans, presentation of training, and planning /execution of enterprise Microsoft SharePoint applications.
Implement and document SharePoint designs and configurations.
Technical troubleshooting on complex issues that span enterprise systems and multiple data sources requiring rapid resolution.
Developing and maintaining Microsoft SQL database instances.
Analysis of business requirements in support of SharePoint Sites design and suggest improvements.
Develop and maintain API's that include SharePoint and Oracle APEX.
Crosstrain and mentor State staff in Microsoft SharePoint design and support.
