Data Governance Manager

The Data Governance Manager is responsible for leading operationalization of the Data Governance program & framework while also helping guide key aspects of Enterprise Risk Management and Model Risk.
Achieves results by guiding strategy and leading efforts for consistently identifying, assessing, managing, measuring, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
Also responsible for the development and/or maintenance of Data Governance and other risk management tools, and for creating reports and metrics.
Accountable for compiling and processing data requirements, as well as communicating status and issues.
The DGM is also instrumental with communication, training and with educating stakeholders and promoting awareness of the Data Governance programEducation and
Experience:
5 or more years of experience in data governance, risk management, systems, or other capacity that involves analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging information/data to inform decisions.
Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, statistics, information systems or another related field is strongly desired.
Experience making sense of, and providing insight on, complex or unstructured data challenges Skills and Abilities:
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity software applications Skilled in problem analysis, systems analysis, and systems design Aptitude to build a sustainable, efficient program thereby reducing risk Ability to accept unclear, uncertain, or novel situations and work effectively in this environment Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work on multiple large projects and many data streams concurrently and under critical time constraints while maintaining quality Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
