Economic Policy Analyst Duration:
through 12/31/23 (Part-time position) Location:
Remote - Located within 30 miles of Rome, NY (Mohawk Valley region).
Minimal local travel may be required.
Job Duties:
Conduct economic research and analysis for the Mohawk Valley REDC.
Conduct market and industry research and analysis.
Perform data collection on capital and funding opportunities.
Provide analysis on emerging technologies and market trends.
Participate in meetings with NYSTEC project team and project stakeholders.
Synthesize information captured during research and analysis to support updated regional economic strategic plan and roadmap development.

Qualifications:
minimum of a bachelor's degree in Strategic Planning, Economics or Public Policy.
minimum of 15
years' experience.
Required Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills bility to work collaboratively with a remote project team bility to perform economic research and market analysis, synthesize findings, and identify key takeaways Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Skills:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
