Duties Description This position is an essential, high-profile policy position with duties that cross departments, bureaus, State agencies and multiple initiatives within the scope of OALTC.
The person who fills this position must have experience with engaging with senior and executive leve staff, have a working knowledge and experience in programs and processes that encompass the provision of long-term care services and supports.
This position requires the ability to write clearly, synthesize concepts and put forward recommendations to leadership within the Department and OALTC.
The incumbent must be able to identify the data needed to put forward sound recommendations for consideration and communicate clearly to leadership the action steps, messaging and conceptual framework for the policies.
This position will also assist in the recruitment, hiring and managing of current and prospective Center staff.
The incumbent must have strong supervisory and forward- thinking skill sets and must be able to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
