As an SLP with Language Fundamentals, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of your patients by:
Collaborating with the team of PT/OT, nurses, physicians & dieticians to meet the comprehensive needs of the residents in the facility Providing short team rehabilitation, geared toward a functional return home Providing restorative therapy to improve the quality of life of the long-term residents in the facility Interacting with families and nursing staff on patients' after-care programs Treating under the Patient Driven Payment Model Reimbursement System Observing in the administration of on-site FEES testing for patients with swallowing disorders Our unique network of SLPs believes in collaboration & support geared toward providing high quality speech therapy services to the patients we serve.
Per Diem positions are only available to CCC-SLPs.
Requirements Requirements:
oGraduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology (SLP) therapy program oCurrent State licensure as a CCC-SLP oExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills oGoal oriented approach with ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills oAbility to utilize technology to perform electronic documentation Recommended Skills Critical Thinking Interpersonal Communications Problem Solving Speech Language Pathology Success Driven Electronics Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
