Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Work
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience within Information Security/Cyber Security or a related field.
Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
Familiarity with Information Security Frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001.
Knowledge of 23 NYCRR Part 500 and Enterprise Risk Management.
Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, anti-virus, and IDPS concepts.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with different business stakeholders, clients, and teams.
Job Duties:
Designing and implementing IT security systems to protect the organization's computer networks from malicious attacks.
Developing organization-wide best practices for IT security and ensuring their effective implementation.
Monitoring computer networks for security issues and promptly documenting any security issues or breaches found.
Identifying and mitigating network vulnerabilities and providing recommendations on how to avoid them.
Conducting computer network penetration testing and utilizing appropriate techniques to enhance network security.
Ensuring compliance with Information Security Frameworks and relevant regulations such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, and 23 NYCRR Part 500.
Collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination of security measures.
Preferred Skills:
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
Experience with penetration testing and techniques is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively convey security-related information to stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with different business units and clients.

Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:

00 pm, with a 1/2-hour lunch break for a total of 37.

Background Check:
A background check and fingerprinting will be required.
Interviews:
Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
Parking:
Client does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by bus.
Telecommuting Policy:
Once training has been provided, Client currently has a 50% telecommuting policy in place.
Training will be provided to the selected candidate.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
