o Calibration, operation and maintenance of combustion controls, instrumentation, boilers, burners and auxiliary equipment. o Complete inspections, monitoring, reporting, diagnostics and repair of all combustion, auxiliary and other plant controls. o Computer programming of boiler applications, plant applications, variable frequency drive applications, and auxiliary environmental control applications that are critical to the agency's mission and in compliance with Department of Environmental Conservation's air permits. o Provide recommendations and training in the operation and maintenance of the OGS Power Plants. Operational Needs:
o Asbestos Supervisor certification required within 90 days of appointment, as well as compliance with all related PESH/OSHA regulations. o Utilities Management is a 24/7 operation; thus night, weekend and holiday work are required based on operational need.
