64 an hour Join Our Mission As a Secure Detention Recreation Specialist at Berkshire, this position is responsible for organizing activities and programs which support the constructive use of the resident's leisure time.
The organized, directed activities are designed to enhance the individual's self - esteem, focus on the importance of appropriate interpersonal relationships, identify and develop needed social skills.
The Recreation Specialist identifies community resources and works with community programs so that recreation and the constructive use of leisure time is seen as a vital step in the process of mainstreaming children back into the community.
Sign on Bonus - $500 Job Responsibilities Our Part Time position will assist the Full-Time Recreation Specialist to plan, coordinate, organize, supervise, and direct the daily recreation and leisure time activities for residents Teaches individual esteem enhancing skills to residents, including sportsmanship, team play and social skill development Utilizes creative skills in developing and enhancing an age appropriate variety of physical activity, as well as quiet time pursuits Maintains an appropriate, cost effective inventory of recreation equipment, games, et al, conducive to the individual as well as resident group needs Provides leadership and structure appropriate competitive endeavors and tournaments.
Observes and maintains vigilance regarding the health, safety and security of residents in all recreation endeavors Maintains an ongoing written recreation schedule updated as required and adapted to resident interest Provides input to case managers regarding the recreation participation of each resident Assumes responsibility to manage and reduce risk where it is seen in his or her area(s) of responsibility and to report it if it is outside of her or her area(s) of responsibility or assistance is needed to resolve the matter, assuring that health and safety risks are controlled or removed Job Requirements Minimum a High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred 2 years' preferred, experience in an institutional setting, working with juveniles aged 10 - 18.
Experience in recreation/leisure activities with juveniles is required for this position Ability to become TCI, First/Aid CPR certified Flexible schedule required including evenings and weekends Valid driver's required Part time will be required to work evenings and weekends Schedule & Pay Option 1:
Wednesday - Sunday 5PM-9PM Option 2:
Saturday and Sun 10AM-3PM & Monday and Tuesday 4PM-9PM Pay is starting at $21.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
