Analysis of loan guaranty records for accuracy and completeness, and where appropriate for compliance with governing federal regulations and HESC policies and procedures Adjustment of financial transactions to HESC's Debt Management and Collection System and the Active Loans System Adjustments pertain to existing regulations regarding student loan relief under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES ACT) and account maintenance and updating Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of automated accounting systems, a strong understanding of Excel and excellent attention to detail for reviewing and entering data on required systems and spreadsheets.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and data entry Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work assignments Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Previous experience as accounting, bookkeeping or auditing in the public or non-profit sectors (Preferred) #USNDC #Accountants Job Types:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
