Peter's Surgery & Endoscopy Center is a freestanding ambulatory surgery specializing in gastroenterology procedures and multispecialty surgeries, Monday - Friday.
No nights, weekends, holidays or on-call.
5K SIGN-ON/ RETENTION BONUS RESPONSIBILITES:
-Prepares patients for endoscopy and surgical procedures by conducting pre-operative patient assessments according to facility policy -Questions patient on allergies and how manifested, last intake of food or drink, and charts responses -Verifies operative consent for correct procedure/surgery, physician's name, patient's signature, and date and time -Verifies chart has completed history and physical and all labs/EKG as ordered per the physician -Takes vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, O2 saturation and respirations) and documents in the patient's record -Gives appropriate medications per physician's orders -Prepares area as designated by procedure and chart Job Type:
