Albany International Airport SUMMARY Assist the Airport Security Supervisor in ensuring compliance with TSR Parts 1540, 1542, and 1544.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Assists the Airport Security supervisor in the daily oversight of security operations at the airport.
Provides timely evidence as may be requested by the TSA of compliance wit TSR Part 1542.
Assists in maintaining and providing to the TSA, upon request, a complete and current list of all individuals afforded authorized unescorted access to restricted areas.
Assists is providing training and maintains documentation in accordance with TSR Part 1542.
Assist in maintaining and updating the Airport Security Program, or appropriate parts thereof, to appropriate persons or entities.
Assists in providing the appropriate dissemination of all correspondence or other communications (including security directives) with the TSA on security related matters.
Must be able to qualify as an alternate security coordinator as specified in TSR Part 1542.
Serves as designate alternate to accompany and assist TSA special agents, upon request, in the performance of their official security related duties.
Ensures that TSA representatives will be provided direct access to the Airport Manager or designee, as requested.
Assists in administering fingerprinting and CHRC process as required by Part 1542.
When directed, acts as the liaison between the Security Supervisor and the Airport Authority, the FAA, and local, state and federal law enforcement agencies on matters pertaining to airport security.
Assists in administering the issuance of airport identification media, maintaining records and ensures compliance with TSR Part 1542.
Administers and ensures compliance with the requirements of TSR Part 1542.
Assists in the maintenance and operation of the security access control system.
Participates in Total Quality Management programs, Goal Setting, and Performance Appraisals.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A.
A.
) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or six months to one year experience.
Proficiency in Windows's computer programs environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver's License as a condition of employment.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
