Graduate Student Assistant
The New York State Developmental Disabilities Planning Council (DDPC) is a federally-funded state agency whose primary purpose is to award grant contracts to various entities to test and implement innovative ideas, models and programs that support people with intellectual and develop- mental disabilities and their families to thrive in their communities across New York State. Primary Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Develop content and schedule posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram -Develop content for and schedule bi-weekly announcements and monthly newsletter -Assist with updates to agency website -Draft press releases -Create a map of the location of grant projects -Tabling at conferences or other events -Take minutes at agency meetings -Assist with in-house video projects -Special Projects as Needed

From $21.07 to $21.07 Hourly
Minimum Qualification
A current Graduate Student in one of the following degree concentrations:
Business Administration, Cultural Studies, Education Studies, Health Services, Human Services, Liberal Arts, Psychology/Psychiatry, Public Administration, Public Health, Social Science, Social Work. Preferred experience- Communications/Public Relations/Human Services, Planning/Analysis/Research, Public PolicyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
