Responsibilities Development of a Design Build guide including the development of design build templates, a decision-making matrix, and documenting of processes and procedures This individual shall be able to identify differentiating factors of the contracting methods regarding approach, design, constructability, procurement, bid, and execution phases The Alternate Delivery Procurement Specialist will be required to maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of D&C's contracting methods, procurement processes, procedures, and policies This individual will be a part of scope development meetings and provide input where appropriate as well as review solicitation documents and support efforts to evaluate proposals Work with the client early in the process in order to facilitate the design process with the chosen design professionals Maintain awareness of upcoming projects, contracting methods, procurement processes, procedures and policies to facilitate decisions on contracting mechanisms to be utilized Work with client to determine contract delivery method to be utilized for individual projects Ensure that an accurate and complete estimate for the project is prepared Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, provide value-engineering ideas Interpret the project proposal and develop a work plan that ensures timely and on-budget delivery of the project scope Development and management of project budgets Oversee the buyout process and selection of trade subcontractors Qualifications BS in business, construction management, or similar degree preferred 5
years of design/build construction management experience required 2
years of experience and familiarity with the Project Labor Agreement process Ability to effectively manage, control, administer and execute the integrated design and constructions operations Experience in documenting processes and procedures and/or creation of templates Familiarity with various contracting methodologies (ie. lump sum, T&M, GMP, etc) Ability to organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results Exhibit commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes, make necessary changes, use client input to make improvements and, meet/exceed internal and external client expectations Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding client requirements and expectations PE or RA and DBIA certification a big

proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
ProcurementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
