Database design and development, logical data modeling, and administrative knowledge of Oracle Portal to support database and application development and Business Intelligence
Supports department projects and initiatives with regards to Data Transparency
Technical resource for system upgrades and patches
Support development teams with database components
Works closely with Business Intelligence and Development teams to support department priorities.
Leadership in designing and migrating to the latest Portal 11g version.
Assist the department in complying with the Federal Recovery Act (Stimulus) requirements.
Develops and supports application/database components associated with the NYS Statewide Financial System.
Experience with NYS SFS (Statewide Financial System) business processes and transactions files

Designing and implementing Information Technology solutions
Expert - Candidate is able to provide leadership of large teams and/or extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field

84 months Experience in architecting solutions and administering Oracle Portal's Content Management System version 9i or higher, 10g Content management .schemas and architecture
84 months Experience in architecting and developing data warehousing solutions.
84 months Experience in designing Operational Data Stores, Ad-Hoc reporting databases, views, functions, Data Marts and developing ETL processes
84 months Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Unix (AIX, Solaris, or Client-UX), Unix Shell Scripting (ksh, csh, or perl), SQL loader.
84 months experiencein advanced PL/SQL coding and creating Oracle Portal 10g packages and locally built providers using dynamic pages, list of values, packages and procedures.
18 months Experience with NYS SFS (Statewide Financial System) business processes and transactions files .Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
