Essential Duties and Responsibilities
o Develop the Sales and Distribution Strategy and secure proper implementation, maximize margins and the effectiveness of the resources allocated to promotional activities
o Allocate, develop, manage and track the annual trade spending budget in the most effective way
o Plan, coordinate, and track all new product introductions and provide necessary input and feedback to Marketing for related new product development and program activities (in conjunction with Sales Management input)
o Make available clear reporting tools at all times to guarantee full transparency of Sales, Sales and Promotional Activities, Market developments, Trends and Competitive Activities (i.e. syndicated data)and develop related sales tools
o Continuously study the possibility of further financial improvements in all areas of the customer portfolio in order to keep up with growth and profitability projections of Beech-Nut management
o Develop channels and tools (sales policies, new biz presentations, price lists, broker manuals, broker lists and all field mailings, etc.) for efficient internal and external communication to the sales field and broker
o Coordinate and plan all sales meetings and assist in ad hoc projects for the sales organization

Education and/or Experience
o Bachelors Degree in related field
o Ten (10) years of sales & marketing management experience (CPG experience a plus)
o Strong communications, analytical, organizational and computer skills are required
o Ability and confidence to interact with Senior Management in formal presentations and in situations with senior customer representatives required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
